On January 19, J-pop musician Yuuri debuted the brand-new music video for his most recent song, “Billimillion.”
The 28-year-old musician’s latest song, which is an allegory about an old guy who offers a young man great sums of money in return for 50 years of his life, supports the younger generation as they struggle to survive in modern society. Since last year, including during his tour honouring the million-subscriber milestone for his YouTube channel, the “Betelgeuse” singer has been singing this song, which inspires listeners to make choices they won’t regret.
The YouTube-distributed visuals use Tekken’s flip animation to illustrate the theme and plot of the new song using his distinctive black-and-white illustrations.
